These Terms of Use (the "Terms") govern access to and use of the Tchumy platform, including the website tchumy.com, the mobile application, and the web version at app.tchumy.com (the "Platform").
By accessing Tchumy or creating an account, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not accept these Terms, please do not use the Platform.
1. About Tchumy
Tchumy is a friendship-focused social app built in Quebec. Our mission is to foster authentic connections between people who share common interests, in a safe and respectful environment.
Tchumy Inc. ("Tchumy", "we", or "our") operates the Platform and remains responsible for its operation.
2. Eligibility
To use Tchumy, you must:
- be at least 18 years old;
- have the legal capacity to enter into a contract;
- not have been previously suspended or banned from the Platform;
- use the Platform for legitimate friendship purposes.
Tchumy reserves the right to deny access to anyone who does not meet these criteria.
3. Account creation
When registering, you agree to provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information. You are solely responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account.

4. Acceptable use
You agree to use Tchumy respectfully and in compliance with applicable laws. The following is prohibited:
- harassing, intimidating, threatening, or discriminating against other users;
- publishing illegal, offensive, hateful, or sexually explicit content;
- impersonating another person;
- using the Platform for unauthorized commercial purposes;
- collecting other users' data without their consent;
- attempting to bypass the Platform's security measures;
- using bots, scripts, or automated tools to access the service.
5. User content
You retain ownership of content you publish on Tchumy (photos, messages, profile descriptions). By publishing content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, and distribute that content as needed to operate the Platform.
We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these Terms, without notice.
6. Intellectual property
All elements of the Platform (brand, logo, design, source code, text) are the exclusive property of Tchumy or its licensors. Unauthorized reproduction is strictly prohibited.
7. Services and availability
Tchumy is accessible via the mobile app (iOS and Android) and the web version. We strive to ensure optimal availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Interruptions may occur for maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control.
8. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms or if your behaviour harms the Tchumy community. You may delete your account at any time from the app settings or by contacting us.
9. Limitation of liability
Tchumy acts as an intermediary between users. We do not guarantee the accuracy of profiles or the behaviour of members. Tchumy shall not be liable for interactions between users, online or offline.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Tchumy disclaims liability for indirect damages, loss of profits, or consequential damages arising from use of the Platform.
10. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws in force in the province of Quebec and applicable federal laws of Canada. Any dispute shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the judicial district of Montreal, Quebec.
11. Changes
We may modify these Terms at any time. In case of a material change, we will notify you via in-app notification or email. Your continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
